|The text contains many abbreviations. Many are the standard Latin contractions, and there are the nomina sacra terms. There are also some rather drastic and non-standard abbreviations, particularly in phrases that are repeated. Who would have thought that thw word misericordiae could be abbreviated mie? This is really just a memory jogger for the reader who is supposed to know what word to expect.|
